Kate and Karen invite you to the Belair edition CLOTHES SWAP PARTY!

HOW IT WILL WORK

We ask that you only bring a select bunch of clothes, somewhere between 5 (minimum) to 15 pieces. The number of items that you bring, is the same amount that you can take home with you. 

So plow through your wardrobe and pick out the items that shine, those pieces that would be loved by someone else. A designer piece that has never quite fit you right? A pair of rocking boots that you were hoping may one day feel comfortable? Please don’t bring your bathers that don’t have any elastic left or your trackie daks with a hole in the derriere… Get the drift?

On entry, our lovely volunteers will give you a ticket displaying the number of items you brought along. After you are done swapping show us your ticket and your stash as you leave. Kate an Karen are a friendly pair, if you want to take any extra items home, come and chat to us and we’ll see what we can do. 

ACCEPTED ITEMS

Women’s clothing and accessories (see below for our caveats of what we won’t accept).

EXCLUDED ITEMS

Men’s and kids/babies clothing, women’s underwear + socks, any items that are damaged condition.

TIMES

5-6 pm Please arrive sometime during this hour for clothes drop off and you will be given your swap ticket. While we sort the clothes, you are more than welcome to stay for a drink and a little bite to eat, or feel free to leave the venue and come back in time for swapping.

7 pm Swapping begins! Feel free to leave when you are all swapped up, just make sure you check out your ticket and clothes. 

8:30 pm Packing up starts

9 pm Home time

DRINKS AND NIBBLES

Refreshments and nibbles will be on hand to replenish your clothes swapping energy and is included in the ticket price. 

WHERE DO THE PROFITS GO?

Profits from the event will be donated to The Village. Co … a fabulous charity helping post-natal women in need https://thevillageco.org/about-us/ check out their website to truly appreciate the impact that they make in new parents lives.
